Bright Ideas is a grant program sponsored by Operation Round-Up and Carroll EMC that awards funds to teachers to put innovative and creative educational projects into action. The Carroll EMC Foundation Board administers the Operation Round-Up program.
Grants of up to $1,000 will be awarded to public school teachers, teaching grades Pre-K - 12, for projects in any subject. Schools in the areas that Carroll EMC serves may submit more than one application. However, teachers are eligible to submit only one application per school year. All completed applications must be received at Carroll EMC by August 29, 2008. Carroll EMC's Foundation Board has designated $35,000 for the Bright Ideas program for 2008.
