New

Construction

For a step-by-step guide to obtaining service for new construction, click here.

Also please keep these guidelines in mind: Georgia State law requires all utility facilities be located prior to new construction. Call the Utilities Protection Center (UPC) before you dig - there could be electric lines, phone wires or cables buried in the area. Any person responsible for work being performed under, over, by or near, high-voltage lines must give notice to the UPC at least 72 hours before the date the work is to begin. For more information on UPC, visit www.gaupc.com or call the Utilities Protection Center at 770-623-4344 or 1-800-282-7411.
