$100 for Gas-to-Electric Water Heater Change-Out
We will pay you $100 for replacing your existing gas water heater with an electric one. Here are the details:
- Customer is responsible for all costs associated with changing out the water heater.
- Invoice for new electric water heater must be submitted to Carroll EMC in order to receive rebate check. Rebate will be issued to customer within 10 business days. Rebate is $100 for each gas-to-electric water heater change-out.
Energy Resources Conservation (ERC) Loan -- Up to $5,000
Making your home more energy efficient could be as easy as caulking doors and windows and fixing leaky air conditioning ductwork. Or maybe you need a new high-efficiency electric heat pump. Here's where Carroll EMC's ERC loan can help.
- Loan limits from $100 to $1,500 for weatherization needs and/or up to $4,000 for installation of a heat pump ($5,000 total maximum)
- Fixed interest rate plus an application fee, with no prepayment penalty. Call for current rate.
- 5-year term for loan
- Security deed is required
- Initiated through Carroll EMC
- All energy conservation/weatherization related improvements on existing homes are eligible.
Energy Conservation (EC) Home Loan -- Up to $15,000
Sometimes improving home energy efficiency can require larger investments in energy-saving products and systems. Carroll EMC's EC loan is here to help with these larger projects:
- Loan limits from $1,000 to $15,000
- Fixed interest rate, with no down payment, prepayment penalty, or application fee. Call for current rate.
- 5- and 10-year terms for loans under and over $5,000, respectively
- Unsecured "signature" loan with quick turn-around
- Initiated through a participating contractor
- Electric HVAC, water heater, and other energy conservation/efficiency related products on existing homes are eligible
